1972 - Current - Self-Employed Wood Work Craftsman/Designer
Experienced in sourcing and selecting materials, designing, processing and finishing wooden products for the international tourist market. Proficient at using and maintaining a wide variety of woodworking tools and machinery.
Design and print my own cards, promotional brochures and display graphics.
Hired and trained staff, kept accounts, ACC, Paye, GST. stock records etc.
1986–92 Senior Art Tutor at Auckland Prisons (Maximum and Medium Security)
Introduced drawing and painting classes. Wall murals. I consider it as much social work as art therapy and technical instruction. High recommendations from inmates. Working successfully in that environment speaks for itself. Member PARS.
1986 - Current - Continuing Education and Casual Arts Tutor
I have taught Photography (film & digital), Water Colour painting, Calligraphy and Life
drawing to adult students, one to one and in groups up to approximately 14 persons. Night
class tutor at local High Schools. Day classes at Community centres.
Guest tutor (Fine Arts) Insight Learning Academy, Paeroa and Hamilton.
1993–2004 - Part-time manager large tourist shop in Parnell, customer services, sales, policy etc.
2004 - Current - Promote and run workshops in Digital Photography from my home where I have
complete professional facilities including 3 computer systems.
2007 - Registered as Rehabilitation Coach with “Coastal Rehab Services” in Tauranga.

3 Years at Elam School of Fine Arts and Auckland University. 2 of which were fulltime - (painting, sculpture, art history and design) and the third part-time when I passed Design 3 with good grades while working as a photography tutor.
